4. Sex, natural and "unnatural" Almond chs. 2, 3
5. Grounds of morality: social requirements and a plausible morality
Mackie ch. 5, 1, and 8
6. Contraception and abortion Singer chs. 4, 5
7. Systematising morality: Kantianism Mackie chs. 4, 7
8. Partiality: family, nation, species Almond, chs. 1, 18, 21; Singer chs. 12, 13
9. Systematising morality: Utilitarianism Mackie ch. 6; Singer ch. 6
10. Population policy Singer chs. 8, 10 (NB this and lecture 11 will probably be combined on November 15th)
11. Poverty Almond ch. 19
12. Capital punishment Singer ch. 7
