CAPSTONE Thesis End of Year Season

Film dominates the CAPSTONE THESIS End of Year season of the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination once again. This year’s season features six films, four dance productions and two theatre productions from the BFA graduating class of 2016.

The Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination is pleased to announce the start of the Capstone Thesis Season and the staging of the Creative Project Presentations of the graduating class of 2016. Starting on Saturday April 30th and closing on May 14th 2016, the twelve productions close the Kaleidoscope End of Year Season for 2016.

Presenting original creative work in theatre, film and dance, Capstone
Students; Shara Waterman, Melanie Jean Baptiste, Kevin Clarke, Renee Plenty, Yannick Hooper, Lyn Marie Jack, Charlene Haynes, Mia Clarke, Kota Forde Cumberbatch, Morgan Forde, Vonley Smith & Reyda Gay will stage their independently researched, written, directed and choreographed work, in fulfilment of their undergraduate studies in the Creative Arts.

The Capstone Season will open with the play Grimm Therapy by Melanie Jean Baptiste, Ruptured Innocence a film by Kevin R. Clarke and Living Like a Refugee, a choreography by Shara Waterman, on Saturday April 30, 2016, at 7p.m. in the Walcott Warner Theatre at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination. Capstone productions continue on May 6, 11 & 14, 2016, all evenings start at 7p.m. General Admission is $20 and $10 for students with ID.

CAPSTONE Thesis is the final year study of students of the BFA Creative Arts. As all degree programmes, a thesis is the culmination and application of academic enquiry into a subject area; however, in lieu the creative arts study is one of a more practice-led investigation.
