Over 500 Brazilian Scholarships on offer

For Release Upon Receipt - Tuesday, July 15, 2014

In May 2014, the Coimbra de Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB)/Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (COIMBRA) visited the Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados campuses of The UWI. During this mission Vice-Chancellor E. Nigel Harris signed a General Cooperation Agreement with COIMBRA President, Rector Maria Lucia Cavalli Neder, strengthening the relationship between the two institutions.

We are now pleased to advise that the Organization of American States (OAS) and COIMBRA are offering more than 500 scholarships for Master's and Doctoral Programs. Given our strengthened relationship with Coimbra, members of The University community are strongly urged to apply.
